FUTURA is Warcom's range for industrial bending of medium- and heavy-gauge sheet and plate, built for high performance, ruggedness and reliability in metal fabrication. A versatile range for demanding work that calls for strength, accuracy and continuous production, with configurations customized to your production needs.
For bending heavy parts, FUTURA is Warcom's range for high-performance, custom applications. FUTURA press brakes reach up to 2,204 US tons (2,000 t) of bending force and 45.9 ft (14 m) of length, with tandem configurations for even larger parts and higher tonnage.
The FCS1 system detects and corrects ram and bed deformations in real time, maintaining uniform workpiece angle and flatness while compensating for the effects of residual stresses.
DCS PLUS – DYNAMIC CROWNING SYSTEM
Optional: CNC-controlled active hydraulic crowning system, which compensates for structural deformation during bending to maintain a uniform angle along the entire length; this is achieved via cylinders in the lower beam, automatically managed by two sensors and an independent pump.
DATA M – BEND ANGLE CALCULATION SYSTEM
The COPRA LASER CHECK – DATA M system automatically measures and corrects the bending angle, adapting to variations in thickness, material strength, and rolling direction.
WARCOM ENERGY SAVER – WES START & STOP
The WES uses an inverter to adjust motor speed according to the bending phase, reducing energy consumption, oil temperature, and noise levels. Average energy savings reach up to 50%.
BEND-MASTER –
Automatic tool changing system: the operator can prepare the next batch while the machine performs the change. Ideal for small batches and frequent setup changes.
BACK REGISTERS FROM 4 TO 6 AXES
Optional features include 4- to 6-axis backgauge configurations with linear guides, high-precision positioning, and anti-collision protection. Retractable pneumatic supports are available to facilitate sheet metal handling.

WES (Warcom Energy Saver) is an option that can cut press brake energy consumption by up to 50% while increasing operating speed. An inverter automatically adjusts motor speed to each phase of the cycle, so the motor doesn't run at full speed all the time. The result is a more efficient machine with lower energy use and faster cycles.
How do I calculate the tonnage I need?
Required tonnage depends mainly on the material, its thickness and tensile strength, the V-die opening and the bending length. The required inside radius also affects the machine configuration. From the earliest design stage, Warcom's sales team can help you find the right combination of press brake, tonnage and tooling.
How customizable is the FUTURA range?
Highly. FUTURA is configured around your work, from the number of axes to open height and stroke, the number of sheet followers and the type of tool clamping. Configurations up to 45.9 ft (14 m) long and 2,204 US tons (2,000 t) are available, including tandem setups for larger parts and capacities.
