VELA is a synchronized hydraulic roll-press brake with a rugged three-column frame. The side throat is 29.5" (750 mm) and the center frame reaches 39.3" (1,000 mm). The machine has three motorized rolls driven by gear motors, and every model has an inverter to prevent roll slippage, so the required profile comes out accurate and consistent. A manual crowning system built into the lower table provides fast, precise adjustment.
WES uses an inverter to adjust motor speed according to the bending phase, reducing energy consumption, oil temperature and noise. Average energy savings are up to 50%.

VELA's three-column frame gives it two throat depths: 29.5" (750 mm) at the side frames and 39.3" (1,000 mm) at the center frame. This configuration lets you process parts with larger developed widths within the outer frames.

VELA comes in three working lengths, 21.3, 27.9 and 34.4 ft (6.5, 8.5 and 10.5 m), with maximum forces of 66, 88 and 110 US tons (60, 80 and 100 t) respectively. The maximum adjustable ram stroke is 5.9" (150 mm) on every model.
How does the three-roll forming device work?
The upper roll adjusts vertically and the two lower rolls adjust laterally; together, their positions set the bend radius of the part. The rolls are 1.77" (45 mm) in diameter, with 5.12" (130 mm) between them, for consistent curved profiles along the full length.
