VELA is a synchronized hydraulic roll-press brake featuring a robust three-column structure. The side throat is 750 mm, while the central frame depth reaches 1,000 mm.
The machine is equipped with three motorized rolls driven by gear motors. All models are fitted with an inverter to prevent roll slippage, ensuring accurate and consistent production of the required profile.
A manual crowning system is integrated into the lower table, providing a fast, precise, and functional solution.

What is the difference between VELA and AREA?
VELA is a synchronized hydraulic roll-press brake with a three-column structure, featuring a height-adjustable upper roll and two laterally adjustable lower rolls, designed to produce rolled sheet metal parts.
AREA is a tinsmithing press brake with a two-column structure, specifically designed for bending sheet metal parts and equipped with an integrated pneumatic hemming die.
Why does VELA have two throat depths?
The three-column structure has two different throat depths: 750 mm on the side frames and 1,000 mm on the central frame. This configuration allows larger developed parts to be processed within the outer frames.
What sheet thicknesses can VELA process?
VELA can process sheet thicknesses from 0.5 to 1.5 mm. Its three-roll forming device features an upper roll with vertical adjustment and two lower rolls with lateral adjustment. The rolls have a diameter of 45 mm, with a distance of 130 mm between them.
What working lengths and forces are available for VELA?
VELA is available in three working lengths — 6.5, 8.5, and 10.5 m — with maximum forces of 60, 80, and 100 tons, respectively. The maximum adjustable ram stroke is 150 mm on all models.
How does the three-roll forming device work?
The upper roll is vertically adjustable, while the two lower rolls are laterally adjustable. The combined position of the three rolls determines the bending radius of the workpiece. The rolls have a diameter of 45 mm, with a distance of 130 mm between them.
