TECHNOLOGY DERIVED FROM SYNCHRONIZED PRESS BRAKES

Warcom tinsmithing machines are based on technology derived from synchronized press brakes, adapted to the specific needs of the sector.

  • AREA is the press brake specifically designed for tinsmithing, featuring a robust electro-welded two-column structure;
  • VELA is a synchronized hydraulic roll-press brake with a three-column structure.

Both are available in three lengths: 6.5, 8.5 and 10.5 m.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

What is the difference between AREA and VELA?

AREA is a tinsmithing press brake with a two-column structure, specifically designed for bending sheet metal parts and equipped with an integrated hemming die.
VELA is a three-column synchronized hydraulic roll-press brake, with a height-adjustable upper roll and two laterally adjustable lower rolls, designed for producing rolled sheet metal parts.

What sheet thicknesses can the VELA roll-press brake process?

VELA can process sheet thicknesses from 0.5 to 1.5 mm. Its three-roll forming device features a height-adjustable upper roll and two laterally adjustable lower rolls, with a roll diameter of 45 mm and a distance between rollers of 130 mm.

What is the integrated hemming die?

The integrated hemming die allows hemming operations to be performed directly on the AREA press brake, without the need for separate external equipment. The PN 30 pneumatic hemming die is supplied as standard and provides a 30 mm counter-bend. The PN 15 integrated pneumatic hemming die, with a 15 mm counter-bend, is available as an option.
