Frequently Asked Questions

What's the difference between a hydraulic and a full-electric press brake?

A hydraulic press brake generates bending force through a hydraulic circuit and suits applications that need high tonnage and versatility. A full-electric press brake drives the ram directly with electric motors, delivering high accuracy, speed and repeatability with lower energy use and less maintenance. In the Warcom range, DINAMICA and FUTURA are hydraulic; LOGICA is 100% electric.

Are Warcom press brakes made in Italy?

Yes. Warcom press brakes are designed and built at the Adro, Italy, plant, where the main production steps are handled in-house: frame fabrication, CNC machining, painting, assembly, wiring and final testing. In-house production allows a high level of customization and direct contact with the manufacturer for technical and after-sales support.

How do I calculate the tonnage I need?

Required tonnage depends mainly on the material, its thickness and tensile strength, the V-die opening and the bending length. The required inside radius also affects the machine configuration. From the earliest design stage, Warcom's sales team can help you find the right combination of press brake, tonnage and tooling.
