What sheet metal formats can TROFEO cut?
TROFEO is designed for large-format fiber laser cutting, with configurable work areas of up to 36,000 × 4,000 mm. The configuration can be customized according to production needs, with the option to select the work area size, laser source power, and automation system best suited to the application.
When should I choose TROFEO instead of W-FIBER?
TROFEO is designed for large-format and thick sheet metal. Equipped with a mobile cabin, it allows sheets and processed parts to be loaded and unloaded during the cutting cycle, without stopping the machine and in complete safety. W-FIBER, on the other hand, is designed for standard formats up to 12 meters in length, with a fixed cabin. Can TROFEO also drill and tap, in addition to cutting?
Yes. Equipped with the 6-position HT series turret, TROFEO can perform drilling, countersinking, tapping, and reaming directly on the workpieces, eliminating the need for external operations. This allows a complete work cycle on a single machine, reducing processing time and costs.
Can sheet metal be loaded while the machine is cutting?
Yes. The protective cabin moves synchronously with the cutting head, keeping the active cutting area protected at all times while allowing the rest of the table to be safely accessed for loading and unloading during the production cycle. Production can continue without stopping the machine, including during unattended or night-time operation.
